In this configuration, the 6 stomps on the unit will act in similar fashion to if you had an analog board with separate pedals for separate functions. Stomp switch mode will give you a ton of different sounds in one preset since you're able to stack different effects together, however you might find that you end up doing a bit of tap dancing to get to the right combination of effects. It's great for musicians that are making improvisation-based music, or if you need to wing a set on the fly. You'll end up with one or two presets that can go a long way.
