The trout caught at Arima Masu Pond are small, so my 4-year-old daughter enjoyed fishing by herself with a fishing rod. (She didn't touch the fish, though lol) You can catch up to three baby trout, regardless of the number of people, with the fishing rod and cooking included. You'll have to pay an additional fee for any additional baby trout you catch, but the additional cost for three fish is less than the cost of the fishing rod, so I think one fishing rod is just right for two people. The baby trout are only deep-fried, but they're edible, even down to the bone, so even small children can enjoy them. This fishing spot is even more child-friendly than the Chihaya River Trout Fishing Spot I visited previously, making it a popular spot for families.
