Sushmita Bhatt, a Bharatanatyam performer and actor, was raised in Udupi, Mangalore, after being born in Chennai. With a B. Tech. degree, Sushmita began her film career in the Telugu industry with "Natyam," later expanding to Kannada and Tamil cinema. She gained recognition through the popular Kannada TV series "Kavyanjali" and is well-known for her short films and Instagram content. Sushmita's Malayalam debut came with "Dominic and the Lady's Purse," a Gautham Vasudev Menon-directed film starring Mammootty and produced by Mammootty Kampany. Her portrayal of a complex character in the movie earned praise from both viewers and critics alike. The dance sequence in the film's song "Margazhi Thinkal" has become a viral sensation and a topic of discussion on social media platforms.
