Morning Prayer | Humble Your Heart Before God, Rise Into Supernatural Favor

Someone less qualified just got the door you've been knocking on — and God has something to tell you about it this morning. In His kingdom, the elevator goes down before it goes up. In this powerful morning prayer, we humble our hearts before God and make room for His supernatural favor. We pray through Proverbs 22:4 (humility and the fear of the Lord bring wealth and honor and life), we walk with Naaman the general who almost missed his miracle because dipping seven times in the muddy Jordan was beneath him — he wanted the Abana and the Pharpar, the clear rivers of Damascus, and God chose the low doorway instead. We stand in the field outside Bethlehem where the prophet Samuel asked "are these all the sons you have?" — and God's oil passed seven impressive brothers to find David, the forgotten shepherd. We declare Psalm 113 over your life: He raises the poor from the dust and seats them with princes. And we stand on 1 Peter 5:6 — humble yourselves under God's mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. This prayer is for you if you feel overlooked, passed over for promotion, unseen in your serving, or tired of fighting for your own visibility.
