[CUHK Campus Tour] 山城遊蹤——步行 & 自駕路線推介 CUHK’s Hidden Wonders – A Journey on Foot and on Wheels

四位校友在短片中分別以步行及行車帶領各位遊覽中大校園，讓海內外久別校園的校友認識校園的最新發展及山城美好風光。 郭希 (2016崇基工管) 及湯富兒 (2020聯合法律/2021研究院法學專業證書) 校友從山下大學站一帶步行至中央校園的路上，發掘新舊交錯的建築，讓各位體會中大校園的新事物、新氣象。當中發掘了港鐵大學站附近的新建築，包括香港首間智慧醫院——中大醫院、中大教學酒店香港沙田凱悅酒店、鄭裕彤樓、還有中大創新創業基地InnoPort。走進崇基學院未圓湖一帶，龐萬倫學生中心是校園內最具規模的學生活動中心，另有早前落成的康本國際學術園、伍何曼原樓及李兆基建築學大樓。經過善衡書院及晨興書院，兩位校友乘五旬節會樓的升降機到蒙民偉樓，再步行至擴建後的大學圖書館。遊覽校園一番後，兩位校友走下大學行政樓旁的樓梯前往范克廉樓學生膳堂，等待張力行及劉嘉敏校友出現。 張力行(2016伍宜孫法律/2017研究院法學專業證書) 及劉嘉敏 (2020新亞全球研究) 校友參考以往中大校友日的開篷觀光巴士路綫駕駛，重溫大家可能久違了的校園風景，同時以不同視角向各校友展現美麗校園。兩位校友由大學正門 (四條柱) 進入校園，經過逸夫科學大樓，沿新亞路途徑新亞書院、聯合書院、伍宜孫書院及逸夫書院，到達校園北部39區一帶。比鄰香港科學園的39區是中大生物醫學科研的重點區域，羅桂祥綜合生物醫學大樓齊備先進的生物醫學儀器，而旁近有賽馬會研究生宿舍2座及3座，以便利研究生進行科研工作。兩位校友經過位於士林路的敬文書院及和聲書院，抵達本部的李兆基樓-聯合書院天橋。兩位最終在范克廉樓外停車，前往范克廉樓學生膳堂赴約。 中大校園的面貌經歷數十載時間洗禮，由建築物的人流動線，以致山城角落一草一木，歷經校園大小變遷。現在誠邀閣下用數分鐘時間透過以上短片再次重溫中大的美好風光。 步行遊覽路線 | Walking Route: https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mi... 駕駛遊覽路線 | Driving Route: https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mi... Join our four CUHK alumni as they tour the CUHK campus on foot and on wheels, so you can stay connected with us and our campus developments from far and near. Brought to you by Alumni Affairs Office at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Angus Kwok (2016/Chung Chi/BBA) and Fiona Tong (2020/United/LLB & 2021/Graduate School/PCLL) enjoy a leisurely stroll from University Station to Central Campus, looking for some new wine in old wineskins, with revitalized structures and progressive changes on campus. Fiona and Angus look into new buildings near the University Station, including CUHK Medical Centre — the first fully digitalised smart hospital in Hong Kong; CUHK’s teaching hotel (Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Sha Tin); and CUHK InnoPort, a habitat for CUHK innovators and entrepreneurs. Entering Chung Chi College, they find Pommerenke Student Centre around Lake Ad Excellentiam, serving as the largest student amenities centre in CUHK. They walk towards Yasumoto International Academic Park, Wu Ho Man Yuen Building and Lee Shau Kee Architecture Building, where 7 escalators are ready to help them with the slope. Luckily, as they move past S.H. Ho College and Morningside College, they find an elevator in Pentecostal Mission Hall Complex to give them a boost to Mong Man Wai Building. Fiona and Angus then walk towards the University Library where they talked about the library extension. They wrap up their tour as they walk down the stairs adjacent to University Administration Building towards Benjamin Franklin Centre Student Canteen, waiting for Sam and Klaire to show up. Sam Cheung (2016/Wu Yee Sun/LLB & 2017/Graduate School/PCLL) and Klaire Lau (2020/New Asia/Global Studies) drive in the campus on the CUHK Homecoming tour bus route to catch sight of our gorgeous campus. They enter the campus from the University Entrance, passing Run Run Shaw Science Building and take a turn to New Asia Road. As they embark on an adventure to Area 39 in Northern Campus, Sam and Klaire drive by New Asia College, United College, Wu Yee Sun College and Shaw College, some of which were home to the both of them. To transform Area 39, which is next to Hong Kong Science Park, into CUHK’s biomedical research hub, the University erected Lo Kwee-Seong Integrated Biomedical Sciences Building to equip researchers with advanced biomedical research facilities. Two Jockey Club Postgraduate Halls are built nearby to create a convenient environment for postgraduate students. They tour both CW Chu College and Lee Woo Sing College, and talk about the Footbridge between Lee Shau Kee Building & United College before arriving at Central Campus. Finally, they arrived at Benjamin Franklin Centre Student Canteen to meet Fiona and Angus. Various facets of CUHK have changed over the past few decades. Yet, from the enduring structures accommodating the continuous flow of students and staffs, to the collective memories we all hold, they are the epitome of solidarity in the face of changes.
