Jeep Liberty ABS Light Is On RESOLVED!

It seems to be never ending with this Jeep Liberty KJ CRD, however; we're getting close to having all of it's issues worked out. Today, we take a look at the ABS system and more specifically the wiring of the system. We just replaced both front wheel hubs/ABS sensors putting the rear ABS wheel speed sensor front and center of our next troubleshooting point of this work. Both the BRAKE and ABS lights are lighting up the dash on this vehicle, which has been the case for well over a year now. A couple symptoms have been a non-working ABS system, meaning the wheels simply lock up when the brake petal is heavily suppressed as well as a non-working odometer. Jeep KJ ABS system troubleshooting. What are we using to complete the work? Pretty common hand tool and a replacement pigtail connector for the rear speed sensor. Do you have any concerns about today's work? We are about to embark on a 3,500 mile round trip to Pensacola, FL and would like to have a working ABS system for safety reasons. Why did you decide to do this? Safety concerns. Any advice for others experiencing this issue? There are several threads online that discuss this issue to go along with several YouTube Videos. Take some time, do some research and hopefully you'll be able to resolve this issue on your own while saving a good amount of money along the way. You can do it! How are you going to fix this issue? Any additional thoughts? We complete this work in a small 2 stall garage with limited space. The biggest issues I face in our 2 stall garage is organization. Keeping the workspace organized and both stalls clear of clutter really helps with motivation, which then helps with productivity.
