MEMORY CAPSULE No. 46: a day at the iconic CAGSAWA RUINS (iconic cagsawa ruins, ATV ride, taking pics, bts of tiktok, pasalubong, feeding fish, me as a thirdwheel) Location: Cagsawa Ruins Park | Busay, Daraga, Albay Date: April 2026 We made this trip happen just before Kuya and his girlfriend, Ate Ylla, headed back to Batangas for work. We had so much fun wandering around this historical place—it truly is the iconic Cagsawa Ruins. Since Ate Ylla isn't from Bicol, she was absolutely amazed by the history and the stories behind the famous Mt. Mayon. Even though Mayon was being a bit shy that day and didn't show off its perfect cone, the experience was still completely worth it. The highlight of this trip for me was definitely riding the ATV! It was so much fun, and I was just beaming with happiness the entire time. Since it was my first time, I'm already wishing I could go back and do it all over again. I'm definitely going to start saving up money for a longer ATV trail next time! Ate Ylla and I even promised each other that we’d come back to try the other activities, and we're targeting the zipline next since they have that in Cagsawa too. All in all, it was an incredibly fun day, even if I was just a third wheel. Honestly, I might just be the happiest third-wheel girl ever! I post our videos here on YouTube purposely to restore our 'worth to remember' moments, so that we can always look back on them.
