"Let Me FINISH My Sentence!" Julia Hartley-Brewer CLASHES With Palestine MP Over Hamas Assassination

Concerns are growing of a further escalation of the war in Gaza after the deputy political leader of Hamas was assassinated in Lebanon in an apparent Israeli drone strike. Saleh al-Arouri, one of the Palestinian militant group’s senior figures, died in an explosion on Tuesday in the Beirut suburb of Dahiyeh, which serves as a bastion for the powerful Lebanese militant group Hezbollah and exiled leaders of Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Lebanese state media claimed that an Israeli drone attacked a meeting of militants at a Hamas office in the area and said the blast killed at least six people. The Israeli army said it was “prepared for any scenario” after the assassination further raised the spectre of regional war breaking out.
