Placed under the high patronage of the Secretariat General for Research and Innovation of the Greek Ministry of Development and with the support of numerous sponsors and partners, the Forum showcased multiple high-level round tables on key strategic themes : defense, energy, health and life sciences and digital technologies, as well as workshops on private and public funding of research and possible collaborations between France and Greece. Scientific and academic cooperation between France and Greece has entered a new phase following the signing, on April 25, 2026, during the official visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Greece, of an Action Plan aimed at strengthening cooperation in higher education and scientific research. This Action Plan includes several initiatives, among them the organization of the Franco-Hellenic Forum for Research and Innovation.
