Persephone - Goddess of the Underworld

Goddess of the Underworld, Persephone also embodies the return of vegetation in the spring. Abducted by Hades, she returns to Earth every year for eight months. No one who has tasted the food of the dead can escape the ruler of limbo, so she must spend four months with the god of the Underworld in the underground kingdom.
