Faversham Festival Of Transport 2024 || Steam Engines, Classic Cars & A Model Train or Two!

During this episode we visit the Faversham Festival Of Transport which is held over the weekend of 18th & 19th May. This show boasts a number of classic and modern cars as well as vintage buses, military vehicles, steam engines and plenty of live entertainment and stalls. The main draw for us here was of course the steam engines on display as well as a small amount of layouts hosted by the Canterbury model railway club. These layouts comprised on N gauge, 00 gauge as well as a layout in 009. On Display outside was 2 averling and porter of Rochester steam traction engines as well as a steam roller, and 3 steam lorries, one of which was a sentinel. There was also a variety of cars on display from mustangs, to lotus and aston martins. The main highlight of the day was waiting until the end and seeing the steam engines fire up and set off on their way home. This event is a annual one held every year in the historical town of faversham, Kent so if you get a chance to, I would highly recommend attending one year as it looks to get bigger and better with each passing year.
