Dr. Bransford committed his life to serving children across Africa who were marginalized because of their medical conditions. His choice to say yes, changed the world for the better, including the founding of BethanyKids to ensure that even after he was gone children who needed medical care would continue to receive it. Today BethanyKids trains and resources pediatric surgeons from across the continent of Africa. Each of these graduates are estimated to care for some 100,000 patients over the course of their lives.
