Clarion Builds 8 Series BMW Gets Stereophile Grade FDS Audio System Installed

With the interior and drivetrain done, Clarion Builds shifted their attention to installing the 8-series’ new Full Digital Sound audio system. With the help of Beach Autosound, the 24 year-old BMW sound system and components were swapped in favor of Clarion’s flagship NX706 high-res source unit with navigation and a digital output and was further enhanced with the addition of Clarion’s Z3 Full Digital Sound processor and digital tweeters, Z7 digital full-range speakers and Z25W digital subwoofers. In addition to having the most advanced and best-sounding car audio system available in the market, the team at Beach Autosound artfully installed the system into the car, maintaining the 8’s factory brilliance, while only adding subtle, classy touches to the car’s cabin.
