Namibia has made a remarkable leap on the continental stage, rising from 15th to 3rd place in the 2026 African Performance Index compiled by Jeune Afrique and The Africa Report. The ranking highlights the country's progress in governance, political stability, infrastructure development, financial market growth, natural resource management, and improved tax collection systems. To help us unpack what this achievement means for Namibia's economy, governance landscape, and investment attractiveness, we are joined in studio by the Chief Executive Officer of the Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA), Sam Shivute.
