There's a valley in the heart of the Orobie Alps, where the asphalt seems carved by giants and the rocks whisper stories of love and tragedy. In this new episode of WanderDuoX, I'll take you on an exploratory ride to discover the Scalve Valley, riding along what was once considered one of the most dangerous roads in Europe: the Via Mala. [What we'll see on this trip] Our itinerary begins by crossing the spectacular gorges of the Via Mala, between vertical rock faces and the roar of water echoing through the canyon. A pure adrenaline rush for every motorcyclist! We'll then stop in Dezzo, a hamlet of Colere, to visit the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of the Visitation. A place of incredible peace that conceals immense strength: rebuilt stone by stone after the Gleno Dam tragedy of 1923, the sanctuary houses the "Chapel of the Apparition" with its miraculous water source. A necessary moment of reflection before restarting the engines.
