No Power? No Problem! Our Off-Grid Solution in Talasnal, Portugal

One of the biggest challenges when renovating a remote mountain property in Portugal is access to electricity. In this week’s vlog, we return to our project in the beautiful schist village of Talasnal, where we’re preparing to build shutters and a pergola. Before any work can begin, we need to source timber from a local wood yard and figure out how to power our tools in a place where mains electricity isn’t available. Fortunately, we have a solution!
