In this video Dave King from Steel City Drones explains why the PPK workflow is so important to mapping workflow whether you use RTK or have no internet connection to use NTRIP. PPK workflow adds backup redundancy to a mapping project in case your RTK signal strength goes bad while the drone is in the air. To utilize PPK you need a pair of GNSS receivers and a drone that has the ability to write raw rinex files to the memory card.
