BREAKING: Judge Dismisses Daniel Penny Manslaughter Charge After Jury Deadlock
Ex-Marine Daniel Penny, the man charged in the killing of a homeless man on the New York Subway, is facing a lesser charge after the jury in the case could not agree on whether or not he was guilty of manslaughter in the second degree. The judge has dismissed the charge leaving the jury to deliberate on count 2, criminally negligent homicide. The Hill’s Courts and Legal reporter Zach Schonfeld has the latest in the trial.
