The TCG Summer Dip Has Started...

The first signs of a potential TCG summer dip are starting to appear. Over the last few weeks I've noticed sealed product sales slowing down across several trading card games, including Pokémon, One Piece, Lorcana and Magic: The Gathering. While demand hasn't disappeared, buyers are becoming more selective and products are taking longer to move. What's interesting is that singles and graded cards are telling a very different story. Strong cards continue to sell, high-end collectibles remain in demand, and some prices are holding up far better than many collectors expected. In this video I break down what I'm seeing in the market, why this happens almost every summer, and what collectors, investors and sellers should pay attention to over the coming months. Do you think we're heading into a normal seasonal slowdown, or is something bigger happening? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
