Exploring the Bayers Lake Mystery Walls
This hike will awaken your inner-archaeologist. Come explore the "mystery walls" of Bayers Lake Industrial Park in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Only a few hundred meters from an industrial park lie the ruins of what was once... something? The stone structures were probably built in the late 1700s, but no one knows what their purpose was. A dwelling? A livestock pen? A fort? Who knows! I talk about some of the theories put forth by experts, and then I take a walk up the "stairs to nowhere". An excellent resource for more information: https://www.halifaxtrails.ca/bayers-l... 00:00 - 00:22 Hello everyone 00:22 - 01:14 Looking for the mystery walls 01:14 - 03:22 Found it! 03:22 - 04:10 Exploring the 5-sided structure 04:10 - 07:47 Theories 07:47 - 12:31 Stairs to Nowhere 12:31 - 13:26 Thanks for watching!
