Walking from Bittern station to Stony point station, Victoria. Searching for vegan food in Bittern and the Bittern Sunday Rotary market, Crib point shops and Stony point station. Not every day can go as planned and this was one those days. Not everything went wrong but there were enough issues to say I wouldn't bother trying again. I highly suggest giving the old Diesel V.line train a go but just to the end of the line and back again. If you are planning to stop along the way and you are vegan maybe eat before you go or try a different day or a later time when more shops are open. Depending on the day of the week the Stony point train runs around every 2 hours so plan ahead to not get stuck anywhere. It is classed as zone 2 public transport so it's fairly cheap and it is included in the free travel in Victoria during April/May 2026.
