Lê Dîlberê

Lê Dîlberê ‪@world-music-hub‬ A 17th-century Kurdish gazel, reimagined as a bare Anatolian türkü. One voice, one bağlama, and the cold air between the notes. The garden has turned to winter, the roses have withered, and the poet is left in ruin — wêran ezim, malêm xirab. The beloved is named as both the wound and the cure, yet never reached. At the end, the nightingale asks where the Feqî has gone, and no one answers. We chose not to resolve that question. The longing is the point.
