Level 1, No Relics, Solo (Everdark Libra) (Depth 5) (Deep of Night) (Elden Ring Nightreign)
This run I take on Everdark Libra and his mad chaos. He is considered by the community to be one of the hardest bosses in the entire game. Honestly I fear ED Sentient Pest far more. Timestamps: Day 1 0:00 7:00 Grab a crossbow from a tower. 8:20 Find a wraith bell by a gravesite. Gravesites have a high chance of having a wraith bell. The lower left corner of the map there are a lot of gravesites. This area is a great place to farm for a wraith bell. 8:45 Find the a weapon with the passive “Less Likely To Be Targeted”. This passive is very good against ED Libra. ED Libra and his clones will have a greater chance of targeting each other and Ignoring you. Libra will sometimes outright kill his clones, and his clones can damage libra himself. 10:05 Grab a Bleed/Frost Katana from a Frost Ruins. This kind of weapon is pretty rare in a level 1 run. 13: 50 Day 1 Boss Royal Revenant (This fight be be tough, try to take out the wraiths that use wraith bells as quick as possible (The tracking on them is crazy, and can be very tough to dodge) Kill the horse guy asap as well. The boss himself can be very fast, erratic, and hard to predict. You can hit him from a distance quite a bit, but eventually he will try to close the distance. Dodge his physical attacks and hit him 1 or 2 times, anymore and he nail you with a counter attack. He sometimes will stay in one place and try summon/buff with some wraiths, this a good time to land multiple hits. 21:30 Day 2 start (I mostly just farm for better weapons and items, I looted a lot of the crate). 35:20 Day 2 Boss Godskin Duo (Duchess can be good for evading Noble's attacks, in phase two finish Noble off and be weary of Apostle and his black flame. The worst combination is when Noble is death rolling around you and Apostle throws a black flame. 45:30 Defeat the Duo and grab glintblades passive as the reward. 46:55 Everdark Libra 47:00 Grab the “Resistance to Ailments” deal from Libra before you fight him (This deal will increase Your Resistance to all status effects by 150+) Having higher madness resistance can really save you from his inescapable eye. 47:05 Fight begins 51:40 I go invisible and Libra decides to run off to end of the map lol. This might be a glitch, but lets just say “his own madness drove him insane so he decided to run off”. 1:00:10 Everdark Libra is defeated Guide to fight ED Libra: (Turn Libra's Madness against him) I try to run away from the clones, and only fight them from a distance with my crossbow and glintblades. With “Less likely to be targeted” his clones don't go after you as much compared to when you don't have it. However if you weren't able to find “less likely to be targeted” you can still get his clones to fight each other if you can get them close to one another. (If the clones are spread out more there more likely to pursue you, but if the clones are within a few feet of each other, they are prone to fighting each other). When he does the deal incite a riot, Libra and his clones tend to target each other more. Going invisible at certain times is another way to get Libra and his clones to fight. These methods are not 100% and you still need to keep and eye out for his clones. If you can get his clones distracted, its much easier to draw Libra over to your position and fight him 1 vs 1. If he his at a distance walking in his 4 quadrant forcefield hit him with the crossbow or wraith bell, and he will usually teleport right over to your location. With his clones out of the way, the biggest threat would be his inescapable eye, it an eyes that constantly builds up your madness bar, and if builds it up all the way it does a ton of damage and also leaves you helpless for about 5 seconds (which gives him more then enough time to hit you again and finish you off while you remain frozen) Building up your madness resistance with his status ailment deal and chugging boluses can really fend this off. Running far away from also seems to off set the buildup. He has a deal which causes increased madness, which is his weakness, you can try to be slightly more aggressive here to proc it on him to deal some good damage. Fighting him up close any weapon with bleed, frost, poison is always good here. When he goes into a frenzied mad state he will often attack his clones aggressively (outright killing them) While he goes ape shit, hit him from a distance with a crossbow or wraith bell. Trying to engage him up close with how erratic he be can be very risky It's a lot to take in, but you just have to get clever and use his own gimmicks back against him.
