Mysterious Hands on Classic TV

In this video we look at all those mysterious hands that pop up on classic TV. You know the hands belonging to back stage crewmen who helped with old school special effects, driving cars, shutting doors, pulling strings, and helping with animals. Along the way we look at how hands popped up to drive Knight Rider's KITT, and helped Andy and Barney on the Andy Griffith Show with shutting doors and a horse. More than just Thing's hand showed up on the Addams Family, and spooky people were visible in the shadows on the Munsters. TV animals like Mister Ed and Arnold from Green Acres needed trainers who sometimes popped up on the screen when they weren't supposed to. We even find a couple of hands on the Three Stooges and the X-files. Enjoy these bloopers and goofs that made it to the final cut and give us a behind scenes peak at how special effects used to be done on classic television. 0:00 Intro 0:37 Hands that close doors 1:34 Animals trainers seen 4:01 Special Effects and Driverless cars 6:18 Scary mysterious hands and crewmen appearances 6:43 The Addams Family and the Munsters
