Ulpiana – URBS SPLENDIDISSIMA

This is a video on the history and importance of Archeological Park “Ulpiana” as part of the “Inter-community Dialogue through inclusive Cultural Heritage Preservation” project implemented by #UNDPKosovo and financed by the European Union’s Instrument contributing to Stability and Peace (IcSP). The overall objective is to enhance the knowledge of Kosovo’s cultural identity and heritage and develop the capacities of institutional mechanisms to protect and promote the shared cultural heritage. The video was produced in close cooperation and in conjunction with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports/Department of Cultural Heritage Protection (MCYS), the Kosovo Archaeological Institute (KAI) and the responsible management of the Archaeological park “Ulpiana”. The 3D restitution model of Ulpiana is made to represent virtual reconstitutions based upon fragments and measurements, and is completed and validated by the knowledge and archeological expertise of the Archaeological Institute of Kosovo.
