August 23rd-24th, 2025 Oarai's historic summer festival, the Oarai Hassaku Festival, took place. This year, once again, a Nissho Tank float pulled by Girls und Panzer fans paraded through Oarai Town, competing with Oarai Town's own floats during the main festival. The Oarai Hassaku Festival is a traditional festival praying for peace on all four seas and bountiful harvests. The floats parade through town, bringing tourists and locals together to enjoy the festival. Because the Hassaku Festival is a historic festival in Oarai, Girls und Panzer fans have been hesitant to bring anything Girls und Panzer-related to the festival. However, the Oarai Chamber of Commerce wanted Girls und Panzer fans to enjoy the festival as well, so they commissioned Nissho Tank to build a float, and the Nissho Tank Float was born! However, the Oarai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, wanting GuP fans to enjoy the Hassaku Festival too, commissioned the Nissyou Tank float's construction, leading to the explosive birth of the Nissyou Tank float!
