Finish with a Damascus Edge | Weaving Tutorial

How to finish a handwoven item with a "Damascus edge." As far as I can tell, that term was coined by Peter Collingwood in The Techniques of Rug Weaving (1968). It works best for weft-faced weaves with a wide warp sett. The warp for the mug rug in this video is doubled 8/4 cotton carpet warp, meaning that two warp threads are treated as one.
