The 21-year-old is familiar with horses; she has been doing vaulting since childhood and used to compete in tournaments. The media and communication studies student loves music: "I'm trying to build a second career as a wedding singer. And I also enjoy writing my own songs." Gina is on DSDS (Deutschland sucht den Superstar) to finally become a star. Will she be able to impress the jury with "2x" by Mathea? Dieter Bohlen certainly seems enthusiastic: "No contestant has ever reminded me of Pietro as much as you do. You also have that squeak and sob in your voice and you don't quite hit the notes. And you have an incredible personality in your voice, simply amazing. You're instantly recognizable! You're just like Pietro!"
