Ghost Dance - Celebrate (Live at Bay 63, UK, 1986)
In Goth Daze 09 Ghost Dance - Celebrate The most stylishly striking survivors to emerge from the fragmentation of the punk phenomenon were the gothic punks or Goths. A fascination with the world's dark side, classic horror and art meant the music was also the most eclectic amongst the post-punk movements. Goth embraced the harshness of the industrial movement, the primal rage of demented rockabilly, the ethereal quality of classical, theatre, experimental, dance and punk rock itself. From this unlikely mix a quasi art form was created and soon hordes of longhaired, androgynous, strangers dressed exclusively in black, were turning up at venues to watch a new kind of rock n roll hero. http://www.cherryred.co.uk
