Atchafalaya: America’s Largest River Basin Swamp
The 1977 C.C. Lockwood 16-mm film has been re-mastered. Lockwood, then a student at LSU and working with a coalition of environmental groups, crawfishermen, hunters and swamp dwellers, made this movie that caught the attention of National Geographic and helped turn the tide in stopping development of the Atchafalaya Basin.
