Introduction to the CDSE website and Copernicus Browser
Here we provide walkthrough of the Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem website resources, and Copernicus Browser. The basic visualization and analysis tools are introduced and discussed, explaining how to look at various datasets, creating a timelapse or a time series of NDVI, looking at spectral explorer, compare images, exploring histograms. Image download is also presented. Visualization custom scripts/evalscripts are introduced. The video also shows the requests builder, explaining the structure of the API request. This video was recorded as part of the "Introduction to Cloud Processing of Sentinel Satellite Imagery" training course at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Please use the CDSE forum for questions and comments. https://forum.dataspace.copernicus.eu/ 00:00 Intro 00:33 CDSE gallery 00:44: Copernicus Browser intro 04:48: Loading the latest Sentinel-2 image 10:39 Near-infrared false color composite 11:26 Themes, highlights and configurations 13:31 Creating a timelapse animation 16:35 Exploring NDVI, calculating histograms 17:45 Interpreting spectral explorer 18:48 Creating an NDVI time series 20:16 Questions 23:09 The visualization evalscript 23:35 Quick look at requests builder (https://shapps.dataspace.copernicus.e...)
