The Lublin Underground Route starts in the building of the Crown Tribunal, i.e. the former town hall, and ends in the square where the Lublin parish church once stood. Thus, it combines two places where the most important legends for Lublin take place - about the devil's court, also known as "The Legend of the Devil's Hand" and "About Leszek the Black's Dream". Piwnica pod Fortuną is a small room in the basement of the Lubomelskis' tenement house. For the first time, the basement became famous in the 1930s, when the cultural context of the paintings was studied. The probable time of their creation is the beginning of the 17th century.
