The reality of the fuel crisis for people living in vans, nomads, van life

I've lived in my tiny caravan for over six years, and during that time, I have had to relocate so many times due to time limits on almost every campsite. So I decided to make the most of having a home on wheels and call myself a nomad; explore this country and appreciate the various landscapes that having a rolling abode allows. And then this war in the Middle East and the ensuing uncertainty over global fuel supplies changed everything. People like me who live in vehicles due to being priced out of the housing market are a pretty resilient and resourceful bunch: We are survivors. Apart from the usual worries of vehicle breakdowns, route plotting, and the constant search for the perfect campgrounds that inevitably occur when you live full-time on the road, we now face the reality of increased fuel prices and possible limited supply in the future.
