In today's video, I'll show you what to do in Cusco for free, walking through some of the city's most beautiful and historic places 🇵🇪 We started the day walking near Cusco's historic center, already aiming to show that it's entirely possible to explore the city without spending any money. Right at the beginning, we found some llamas roaming freely in a yard, which already gives you an idea of ​​Cusco's unique atmosphere. We continued past the Plaza de Armas, the heart of the city, and began to climb towards our first point of interest. After a lot of climbing and a bit of shortness of breath due to the altitude, we arrived at Calle 7 Bodeguitas, a street shaped like a staircase, full of cafes, craft shops, and souvenir shops. A super charming place that's well worth a visit. At the end of the street, we went around a large rock and arrived at a historic aqueduct, a beautiful place that's not often mentioned by those visiting Cusco, but it offers great photo opportunities and a very different kind of walk. The next stop on the video is the San Blas viewpoint, one of the most beautiful free viewpoints in Cusco. We walked through streets that seemed to transport us back in time, with old buildings and an impressive historical atmosphere. From the viewpoint, we had a panoramic view of the city, with railings full of padlocks left by tourists. At the highest point, there are also several restaurants with the same view, which seemed perfect for having a coffee while admiring Cusco from above. After that, we went back down towards the historic center to see the famous Seven-Angled Stone, passing through streets with a strong local commerce, full of small shops and very cheap prices. We visited the stone and some shops that are very close by. We finished the tour returning to the Plaza de Armas, where we had lunch at a simple and well-located restaurant, in the style of a set meal. Lunch cost 20 soles and included an appetizer, juice, and main course. The starter was a cheese and avocado pastry, accompanied by passion fruit juice, and the main course was grilled chicken with rice, french fries, and salad. The only thing to note is that the restaurant only accepts cash, not cards.
