Firearms Rust Removal - Easy Milsurp Restoration, Conservation, & Preservation - No.4 Mk.1 Enfield
I was in the middle of breaking down and cleaning up my "new" No.4 Mk.1 Lee-Enfield that I recently bought from Royal Tiger Imports. These firearms, imported by Inter Ordnance, are coming out of Africa where the storage conditions were less than ideal. When I got into the rifle and saw how much actual conservation work it needed I thought it may be helpful to make this video. This is a very basic walk-through of my Military Surplus Firearm restoration process. I the main focus of this video is proper rust removal but I also gloss over several other aspects of firearms preservation as well. It's our duty as collectors to keep these wonderful pieces of history in good condition so they can be enjoyed for generations to come. P.S. I don't recommend doing this to particularly rare or valuable collectibles. It's better to leave that stuff to the professionals. Thanks for Watching!
