The Apex Collection is back at Mecum Kissimmee 2026, and once again it delivers exactly what it’s known for: rare, high-quality and highly coveted machines spanning decades of automotive history. This year, the collection arrives with 18 standout vehicles, each one selected for its significance, condition and presence. Among the highlights is the 1966 Ford GT40 MkII Factory Lightweight, chassis XGT-3, one of only three factory lightweight examples ever built and considered the most original MkII in existence. Also included is a 1966 Shelby 427 Cobra, one of only 32 factory Narrow Hip cars and one of the most sought-after configurations ever created. The variety continues with a 1970 Plymouth Superbird that remains unrestored with only 21,000 miles, a 1990 Chevrolet 454 SS showing just 3,211 miles with its original window sticker still in place, and a 1953 Oldsmobile Fiesta Convertible, one of only 458 produced and the rarest of the GM Triple Crown cars. From icons of American racing to preserved pieces of muscle-era history, the Apex Collection is defined by its depth and diversity.
