Holzroller in Halle/Saale
The Halle S-Bahn (suburban railway) went into operation in 1967, primarily to serve the new housing development in Halle-Neustadt. Double-decker push-pull trains using the then-current Class 211 and 242 locomotives were in service. These older locomotives remained in operation until the end of the 1990s. Enjoy the video!
