Engine 63 ride along

This video is from a few years ago. This was with Engine 63 on a run 1st due to phone alarm Box 3678 for smoke coming from a 2nd floor window at 743 East 223rd Street between Barnes Avenue and White Plains Road. Ladder 39 was 1st due truck. Engine 38 and Engine 62 also responded, as did Tower Ladder 51 and Battalion 15. Engine 66 was supposed to be 3rd due, but Engine 62 became available, so Engine 66 went 10-8 and became available. As I recall, the call ended up being nonsense. I think someone might have tossed a cigarette into a planter on the 2nd floor fire escape, and caught some of the plants on fire. Either way, nothing came of it. Engine 63 is a 2008 Seagrave Marauder II. Ladder 39 was using a spare Seagrave Marauder tiller ladder. Enjoy the ride down White Plains Road under the El.
