Choy Lee Fut Martial Arts and Blue Tile Heritage Center

Martial arts, lion dancing, and Traditional Chinese Medicine are foundations of Lingnan or Cantonese culture. Choy Lee Fut Academy, offers training and public programs in its newly formed school at the Blue Tile Heritage Center. Restoration of the Center's magnificent ancestral hall, built by Lam Tee Chew, was performed by master builder Chen Weiyang of Jingmei Village. Master Chen is a descendant of Chen Heung who in 1836 founded Choy Lee Fut in Jingmei, famed as the "Kung-Fu Village". This video was filmed in Jingmei.
