Thursday, October 5, 2023 Representative Dai Shimabukuro of the Okinawa Liberal Democratic Party will be the first to speak during the general question session (Day 1) of the 3rd Okinawa Prefectural Assembly (September Regular Session). The following questions have been announced in advance. ■After the general question session "Wagyu beef breeders in the prefecture are crying out in despair! With auction prices at their lowest in the past 10 years, they are in a situation where they cannot survive without even touching their living expenses! Some Wagyu beef breeders in the prefecture are being forced to go out of business! If Wagyu beef breeders in the prefecture disappear, there is a risk that Wagyu beef produced in the prefecture will disappear. We must create a system to provide support, such as emergency subsidies, to Wagyu beef breeders!"
