NATURE Swifts - BBC - Autumnwatch 2015

This is an excerpt taken from 'Autumnwatch', which was first shown on BBC2 at 8pm 3 Nov 2015 This section of the programme featured some footage taken by viewer Mark Glanville, who had fitted cameras to film the swifts in the nest boxes he had erected This excerpt also mentions that the BTO reckon swift numbers have fallen 42 per cent in the last 20 years - largely felt to be due to loss of nesting sites and the way new buildings are constructed.
