As America prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday as a nation, there are many needs faced by its residents and citizens. But the most important of this is our need for each one of us to "get right" with God and return to Him with all our hearts! The people of Judah were taken captive 500 years before Christ, and there in far-away Babylon had 70 years to think about why this terrible thing had happened: they had turned away from the Lord! Today, we in America too find ourselves as a nation in a strange place. Many living within our borders have left the Lord, and have zero concern for God and His laws and priorities. Let us return to the Lord, and He will have mercy upon our land! Only then we will truly experience the joyful jubilation that comes from being in right relationship with our Creator!
