Fixing a dim instrument cluster odometer (Ford Crown Victoria)

This video shows the process of repairing a dimming instrument cluster from a Ford Crown Victoria, it might apply to other Ford or other make clusters as well, but I know it's very common on these cars, having fixed four already. Had a video like this ready to go a few months ago showing the removal process but it didn't end up working since filming inside the car on a tripod is difficult to get good shots with.
