Fasting as Resistance (Isaiah 58) - Pastor Daniel
Fasting is one of the great spiritual practices spoken of in the Bible. And for many, fasting is elusive and challenging. It was regularly practiced in both the times of the prophet Isaiah, as well as Jesus. Yet, unfortunately for many people, they completely missed the point of what God intended when He told us to fast. As we look at Isaiah 58 together, we will see that fasting was actually meant to be an act of resistance and a pathway to spiritual authenticity.
