"We don't just want to quickly rebuild the Morandi Bridge, but also make it a livable place, a meeting place where people can gather, live, play, and eat," said Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Danilo Toninelli, who visited the Genoa Boat Show two days ago. His comments follow a project published on Grillo's blog by architect Giavazzi, who proposes encasing the stumps of the collapsed viaduct in a prefabricated steel lattice module.
