Our First Farmstand Sale… and We Bought Pigs?! |Ep:008|

Welcome back to Crying Wolf Homestead in Connecticut! In this episode, we spontaneously do a soft opening of our farmstand, and the support from the community is overwhelming! It’s a huge milestone for us and a day we won’t forget as everything we’ve been working toward starts to come to life. We also begin preparing for and pick up our next set of animals, and share a funny memory/video from our first year when one of our pigs made an unexpected escape when we were at the hospital awaiting our baby boy to arrive! That experience leads us to set up a hot wire this time around to be a bit more prepared. Around the homestead, we spend time with all of our animals and continue settling into the rhythm of everyday farm life. And as always, we take time to slow down and enjoy the calm, simple moments that come with life on the homestead.
