Galatians prelude pt 3 James early amillenialism and dominionism at the Acts 15 council?
This is a review of Acts 15 and James speaking in which he misapplied the prophet Amos and revealed that he was not clear about the kingdom or the times they were living in. Also his statement regarding Moses being preached in the synagogues reflects his persistent view in spite of the compromise reached at this meeting. This is not to "throw shade" on James but to reveal the state of mind and the real struggle that was going on in Jerusalem at this time and how without the revelation of the church that would later come through Paul's ministry, they didn't have a way to really handle the concept of Gentiles being saved. Where do gentiles fit into God's program? none of us would have done better unless we had been the fruit of Paul's ministry and stuck with him .
