"The Rough Talent Exhibition of Actors I Wanted to Photograph," a new project launched by Amuse in 2025 to discover the next generation of stars, selected five finalists from approximately 5,000 applicants nationwide after three rounds of judging. As the final judging venue for determining the grand prize winner, a special exhibition was held showcasing portraits of the five finalists, specially photographed by photographer Hideaki Hamada. This was a very unusual undertaking, both as a photography exhibition and an audition. This article explains the process, composition, and print ordering for the exhibition.
