We Saw 40 Birds in South Florida
We went birding at Eagle Lakes Community Park in Florida and listed 40 bird species (and other wildlife)! We hoped to see some migratory warblers but had little luck. A Yellow-throated Warbler gave us some incredible views and let us observe it for a while. A huge highlight for me was the Brown Basilisk lizard (not a bird), which was perched on the trunk of a nearby tree for some time, offering some great photography opportunities.
