Normal maintenance of circular knitting machine 1.Daily maintenance of circular knitting machine Each production shift should clear away the yarn fluff on the machine and yarn creel. Keep the knitting parts and winding parts clean. Each production shift should check the automatic stop device and safety device. If there’s any abnormal situation, should repair or replace immediately. Check the positive yarn feeders, should adjust if any abnormal situation. Check oiler glass of base plate and level tube of oil lubricator. 2.Weekly maintenance of circular knitting machine Clear up the yarn fluff in the yarn adjust wheel. Check the belt tension of driving system to make sure the smooth of machine driving. Check the fabric taken down system to make sure working in good performance. 3.Three months maintenance of circular knitting machine Dismantle the CAM boxes of machines and clear away the yarn fluff on CAM boxes. Clean the dedusting fan and check the wind direction of fan. clear up the yarn fluff from all electrical devices Check the performance of all electrical devices(include auto stop device, safety alarm system and detector system) 4.Half-year maintenance of circular knitting machine Clean completely the dial and cylinder include needles and sinkers. If there’s any broken of needles and sinkers, should replace new ones immediately. Clean oil lubricator and check the vitta. Clean and check the positive yarn storage feeders. Clear away the yarn fluff and oil in the motor and driving system. Check the vitta of used oil collection to make sure it’s unblocked
